Random Fact: While most people recognize "Sayonara" as "goodbye" in Japanese, it's rarely used by natives because of it's "finality." When said amongst friends it implies that you'll probably never see them again. It's a final goodbye. When I moved away from Japan my friends never said "Sayonara." Such a word would have been too painful. Instead we said "ja mata" which simply means "See you later"
